Not that great compared to previous version

I used to love playing around in Garageband as it wasn’t a professional product but it had enough variety in instruments to make it fun.

With this new version it seems there’s less instruments (i.e. Only 1 regular piano) and even after purchasing/installing the 10GB add on, there’s still only one.

With the seeming downgrade, I am now contemplating taking things to the next level wtih Logic but Apple has a history now of updating/removing features in iMove/Garageband, FinalCut, etc., so think I’ll look at the other 3rd party apps out there.

Who knows, my buddy was showing his setup on Windows 8 this week and I’m finding it tempting (I think he was running Abelton and Image-Line FL Studio?)
