What’s with the download?

Apple has long ago stopped caring about customers who actually want to accomplish something with their hardware and software, as they focus on those consumers who simply like shiny things that make funny sounds. I should have read all of the reviews - there is a major issue with the 5G download of content. Once completing this download (which I have done twice, which will likely result in an email from my Internet provider), many of the loops indicate that the synth generating the sounds can not be located. Very frustrating, since the thumbnails work fine, but once dragged into the project, the warning dialog box comes up.

I don’t understand Apple anymore. As they dumb down all of their once-great software, you lose more than you gain. This is true in GarageBand, and even more true in Final Cut Pro. Its like Homer Simpson is running their software division; “d’oh! Make it dumber - oh look, a dooooh-nut…"
